Fourth grade students receive letter grades for the first
time.
Our field trips take us to West Branch and the
Gallagher Bluedorn.
Using a variety of strategies the
student learn the 100 basic multiplication and division facts.
Reading
genres take us north to Alaska where we learn about the famous Iditarod race, and we also journey back in time to meet a Titanic
survivor.
The students exchange classrooms
for science and social studies. Mr. Tomson is the science wizard, and Mrs. Rueber is the tour guide for the 50 states.
Hooks are made so students can remember things such as the silent "h"
in the spelling of ghost. A ghost is our host at a haunted house.
